Christmas

Once again the holiday season has come to an end with the celebration of the birth of our Savior. As usual, all the lights and glitter were scattered from present to present. The trash bags were filled with the boxes of pretty wrapping and ribbon. The gift givers were respectfully thanked and places were made for the "trophies" of the day to be adored. As I passed on a few of Dan's ornaments to the grandchildren, there were a few tears of remembrance. I wonder what he is doing in heaven on Christmas. I wonder if the heavens even take notice since they have at their disposal the Savior himself on a daily basis. Actually, I guess we do too. But being human as we are, tendency is to take good things for granted. It is good that we have such things as holidays and times to remember. The Lord knew our frame that we are fragile and so is our memory. The Lord in His wisdom, knew this when He asked us to remember this... Happy birthday Jesus..I am so glad you came...Hope you had a good day...I love you...
