Hadassah- Words in Season

This is the time of our greatest journey.

This is the time of the rest of our life.

As Hadassah was born for a time such as 'this' so are each of us.

Look around and see what the Lord has placed in your heart to do for him ..

In a Time Such As This.

  3. I am back now. It has been a long year, but the Lord in His grace and mercy has preserved me. I hope to be able to use this blog for sharing "Tidbits from the Master" that have been downloaded in my spirit over this last year.

The last few months have been a precious time of comfort. His word is true and He never fails His people. My hope and prayer is that as you follow my journey, you too will be able to relate and be a witness to the fact that the Lord is faithful to the end. His word never lies and He is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

  4. Well today is my birthday..actually, I guess yesterday was my birthday seeing as it is 1:30 a.m. Looking back on the last 63 years would be a difficult task..especially since my memory of late is having to play "catch up" with my thoughts.

As I flip the pages of my past journal rantings, I am reminded that I am still and have always been, under the protection of my Savior Jesus Christ. Even in the darkest times, the light that shines in the darkness has led me out and into a place of comfort and peace.

Lately, many of the prayers in my journal are for my oldest granddaughter. She continues to look for love in all the wrong places. As my prayers for her safety float upward, I am reminded of the prodigal son. Eventually, he was in the muck and mire so thick that he could no longer climb out out on his own. Like all of us, it seems that we wait until all of our own problem solving measures have failed before calling on the one that has all the answers.

I pray that just as Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the angels(Gen.18:1-3)...that you my Lord, will cause this child to lift her eyes to you and when she does, you will reveal yourself to her

Your word is true and you are the only wise one...Gen.22:4 reminds me that Abraham "lifted his eyes" and saw the place of sacrifice. Because you are no respecter of persons, what you have done for one, you will do for another. Therefore, because you pointed Abraham in the right direction, you will do the same for this child.

In like manner,Gen.22:13 recalls to my attention that Abraham "lifted his eyes" and saw a ram in the thicket. I pray that my granddaughter will lift up her eyes and be amazed at the provision that God, in His grace and mercy has provided for her.

I have faith and trust that provision has already been made for her to find a way of escape and deliverance.

If you are reading this and like my granddaughter, have found yourself in a deep dark place. Lift your eyes and ask that the Lord revel Himself. Ask that He point you in the right direction. Then be prepared to stand amazed as He lifts the veil from your eyes, and provides a way of escape from your situation.

Have a great day and remember, Jesus is the same..yesterday, today and forever..

  5. Today has been a very good day..I slept in late and was able to get some much needed "deep cleaning" done. It is always in the midst of scrubbing, that the Lord uses this time to unveil some of His deep truths to me.

I suppose it is when I am scooping the dust bunny's from under my bed or shoveling the last of the dirt that has collected behind the window blinds, that the light of truth is able to glide to the surface of my thoughts.

Praying about the depths of the pit some of my friends and relatives have found themselves in, I could not but help thanking the Lord for His deliverance of my soul from the same situations in time past.

Psalms 18:16-19 finds David doing the same thing. Here he looks back and thanks the Lord for His great deliverance when he was facing sure destruction from his enemies. Remembering the times he was surrounded by enemies with no way out, Davids' situation was always seen by God. This psalm says that David was drawn out of a place of many deep waters. David thanks the Lord that he was delivered from his dire circumstances because God... delighted in him.

As I wiped out the microwave, I rejoiced that the Lord delights in me. Even when my house is not clean...my earthly house or my spiritual house...

I praise the Lord that when all around me is full of sorrows and I am surrounded by enemies, the lord delights in me and will rescue me from all my troubles.

My prayer for you today is the same...regardless of what your natural eyes see, God is merciful and He will deliver you out of the hard place you are in...He is no respecter of persons... what he will do for one, He will do for another..

Just as He saved David from his enemies, and just as He brought me out of the deep darkness I was in..He will likewise deliver you from your circumstances...

Have a great day and remember He is the same..yesterday today and forever...
